BarKeeper is operated by MixoPedia, a brand operated by Konstantinos Karakostantopoulos, established in Greece ("we," "our," "us," or the "operator"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when you use the BarKeeper mobile application, website, and related services (the "Service").

BarKeeper itself is a product and is not a separate legal entity. The data controller for personal data processed through the Service is the operator named above.

We process personal data on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract — to create and operate your account and deliver the Service you requested.
• Legitimate interests — to improve the Service, maintain security, prevent misuse, and operate basic technical functions.
• Compliance with legal obligations — to retain limited records where required by law (e.g. tax, accounting, fraud prevention).
• Consent — where you provide optional information or where we introduce features (such as optional analytics) that require consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the BarKeeper app
• Save and sync your account data and user-created content
• Improve product functionality and performance
• Provide customer support
• Communicate important service updates
• Maintain security and prevent misuse or fraud

We do not sell your personal data.

We use the following service providers to operate the Service, based on the current configuration:

• Base44 — backend-as-a-service provider for authentication, database, hosting, file storage, and app deployment.
• Base44-managed storage (media.base44.com) — for hosting images and files uploaded or used in the Service.

No analytics provider, payment processor, Apple service, Google Play Billing, or crash-reporting provider is currently configured. This section will be updated if any such provider is introduced.

Our service providers may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on lawful transfer safeguards provided by the relevant service provider and applicable data-protection law.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. Data is encrypted in transit between your device and our service providers.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Authentication is handled by the Base44 platform, which manages tokens, sessions, and email verification.

You can delete your account and associated data in two ways:

• In-app deletion — inside the BarKeeper app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, confirm your email, and your account, user-created content, and uploaded files are deleted and you are signed out.
• Web deletion request — visit https://wikimixopedia.com/delete-account and submit a deletion request without logging in.

Uninstalling the app from your device does not automatically delete your account or data.

Depending on your location (including under the GDPR), you may have rights to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of your data
• Request deletion of your account and stored data
• Restrict or object to certain uses of your data
• Request a copy of your data (data portability), where applicable
• Withdraw consent where processing relied on consent

BarKeeper is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a person under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

If you use BarKeeper from outside Greece, your information may be processed and stored in other countries where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. See "International Data Transfers" above.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may notify users through the app or website.
